How do I place my on-line order? It's easy and we use a secure ordering system to protect your financial information. If you use our on-line shopping cart system, you will be asked for all the information we need to process your order as part of our automated shopping system. Here's how to order:
Click the "Add To Cart" button for an item you want to order.
With selection of your first item you'll be asked to tell us:
The country you want your order shipped to (pick from the drop down list).
Your ZIP or postal code.
The shipping method you want us to use to ship your order.
Be sure to see the "Shipping Information for U.S. Customers" box at the bottom of this page for information about the least expensive shipping methods for customers with U.S., APO, FPO, or U.S. territory addresses. For international shipments, slower methods are usually the least expensive.
The cart system will remember your delivery choices for the rest of this shopping visit and you won't have to provide this information again during this session.
Click the "Submit Your Choices" button.
Review your shopping cart and click "Continue Shopping" or "Check Out Now."
Clicking "Continue Shopping" will take you back to our site. Just click "Add to Cart" for each additional item until you are ready to check out. If you return to our site, but decide you don't want any additional items, you can go back to your shopping cart and check out at any time by clicking on the "View Cart" button at the bottom of any of our product listing pages.
If you click "Check Out Now," just follow the prompts to complete your order.
How do I place my off-line order? If you are ordering by regular mail, fax, or e-mail, please provide us with the information below.
Provide a brief description of what you are ordering.
For books, provide the title.
For other items, provide a brief description (for example, "rainbow stained glass cross").
Tell us how many of each item you are ordering. (If you don't specify, we will assume you only want one of each.)
Give us your name and billing/shipping address.
If applicable, give us the name and address where you want your order shipped (for gifts you want us to ship to someone else, for example).
Give us your telephone number (in case we have questions about your order).
Give us your e-mail address (where we can send your invoice).
If you want us to bill you by regular mail or fax instead of by e-mail, tell us that. Provide your fax number if you would like us to bill you by fax.
Tell us your preferred shipping method. If you do not provide us with a shipping method, we will normally ship by U.S. Postal Service Parcel Post or, for international orders, U.S. Postal Service Parcel Post Airmail.

What does Chi Rho Press do when it receives my off-line order? We will send you an invoice by e-mail when we receive your order. (We will bill you by fax or regular mail instead if you tell us in you order that is what you'd prefer and, if by fax, include your fax number.) We will bill you for the cost of your items (less any bulk order or special sale discounts) plus handling and shipping costs.
What do I do when I receive my invoice for my off-line order? When you receive our invoice, you may pay by credit card, check, or money order. We suggest that you respond by regular mail or by fax. (See security notes, below.) Please include a copy of your invoice with your payment so that we can identify your order and shipping information. If you are paying by credit card and your billing address is different from your shipping address, give us your billing address. Your credit card company may not approve your charge without it.
Make checks or money orders payable to Chi Rho Press. If paying by credit card, please tell us what card you are using (we accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover/Novus), your name exactly as it appears on the card, the 16-digit card number, and the expiration date.
We will ship your order promptly when we receive your payment.
Shipping Information for U.S. Customers
1. If you want the most inexpensive shipping it is usually best to pick US Postal Service Domestic Parcel Post for packages weighing under 7 pounds and UPS Ground for heavier packages.
2. To qualify for free shipping to U.S., APO, FPO, or U.S. territory addresses on orders of $100 or more, your must choose Domestic Parcel Post.
3. Sometimes small orders can be sent by First Class or Priority Mail for no more than Parcel Post. If you pick Parcel Post and that is the case with your order, we will use the faster method. You will get your order more quickly and you will still get free shipping and handling on qualifying orders.
Our on-line shopping cart ordering system uses encryption to protect your information and we have asked our shopping cart service company not to include your credit card number in the orders it processes and e-mails to us.
Regardless of the ordering method you choose, we will not provide any of your personal information to anyone outside of Chi Rho Press except as required to process your order (giving your credit card number to your credit card company so that we can be paid for your off-line order, giving your shipping address to UPS or USPS and the like).
We will accept your credit card information by e-mail, but we discourage it. Sending credit card information by e-mail is not safe.
A common scam is for
criminals to send you e-mail made to look like it is from a reputable
company asking you to confirm your name, address, and financial information because of some
kind of problem with a payment due to that company. They may try to
frighten you by claiming that not responding immediately will incur large
penalty fees or harm your credit. They will ask you to reply by e-mail
or to click on a link that will take you to a very official looking Web page
where you will be ask to provide your name, address, credit card and/or bank
account information. If you take the bait, it won't be long before
your bank account is emptied or fraudulent charges begin showing up on your
credit card bill. This scam is called "fishing" or "phishing."
They put out the bait and see who will be foolish enough to bite.
Chi Rho Press will
never, ever
send you e-mail asking you to send us your credit card or banking
information by e-mail or by going to a Web page to "confirm" your personal
information. Should you get such a request pretending to be from Chi
Rho Press ignore it. If we do have problems
filling your order, we will call you or send you an e-mail, fax, or letter
asking you to contact us by mail or fax or telephone using our official
contact information as it appears on this Web site, in
our official catalog, and in our publications. If you have doubts
about such a message, please call us at
